Well I feel like I am getting old today but I am pleased to announce that I made a prototype trapping tool it is designed to push stakes into the ground without reaching into the water more than a few inches, it is called a Stake stepper, it consists of a washer attached to a 3 inch piece of rebar, pics and videos to come.
